Most Expensive Home in Arizona Asking $32 Million

How much is the most expensive home in Arizona worth?

Up until a few days ago, the answer was $24.5 million. But as we’ve seen time and time again in the world of luxury real estate, trophy listings and multimillion-dollar price tags are anything but set in stone.

Case in point being this newly listed desert compound in North Scottsdale, which, at $32 million, is far and away the most expensive property offered for sale in The Grand Canyon State.

Owned by Bancorp Services co-founder Seth Koppes, Arizona’s ritziest property combines modern convenience and stunning mountain views on 17 acres in one of Scottsdale’s most exclusive enclaves. The trophy home was built in 2005 and more than justifies its lofty price tag with a 29,700-square-foot floor plan, eight bedrooms and 10 bathrooms.

Past its gated entrance, a hand-laid driveway leads to a motor court and fountain. Inside, the Tuscan-inspired mansion boasts exposed-beam ceilings, marble flooring, wrought iron finishes and beautiful woodwork throughout.

In the amenities department, the home impresses with an Arizona room, a game room, an exercise room with a sauna, a two-story great room, a library with custom built-ins and a wine room.

Outside, the property comes complete with a heated pool and a secluded spa area overlooking the Phoenix valley.

While it stakes claim to the title of most expensive home in Arizona by a $7.5 million margin, the Scottsdale manse pales in comparison to the most expensive property for sale in the state. That distinction goes to a silver and gold mine in Tucson that recently listed for a whopping $100 million.
